INSTRUMENTS
Internal Memory Operation
The internal memory is divided into 5 les. Each can save 100
measurement values. Before saving data be sure to set le number rst.
1. Press the Mode Button to highlight the Save File Name on the
LCD
2. Press the Enter Button to scroll through the memory les, F1 to F5
3. Press the Velocity Button to save and exit
Reviewing Stored Data
1. Press the Mode Button to highlight the Save File Name on the
LCD
2. Press the Save Button to select the contents of the memory
selected
3. Press the Enter button to erase the current saved value
4. Press the Up and Down buttons to scroll through he saved values
Maintenance
Cleaning the Test Piece
Clean the Test Pieces to prevent them from rusting. After taking a
measurement the test pieces should be cleaned. If the pieces are not to
be used for a long period of time coat them with oil to prevent rust.
Protecting the Probe
• The surface of the probe is made of allyl resin, which is susceptible
to scratches from coarse surfaces. During operation be sure to press
the probe lightly against the material being measured.
• Remove dirt from the cable after use as oil and dirt will age and
break the probe line.
• The probe cannot take measurements when the temperature of the
surface to be measured exceeds 60°C.
