2. WhentheLCDashes,pressthe REL button to enter calibration
mode.Thiswillbeindicatedby"CAL1"ontheLCD.
3. Insertthetipofthemeterintothe33%RHHumidityCalibration
Standard(REEDR9933)andpresstheMAX/MIN button once the
reading has stabilized which may take up to 10 minutes.
4. The calibration adjustment will be conrmed by a long beep.

Themeterwillthendisplay"CAL2"tocalibratethesecondcalibration
point(75%).Insertthetipofthemeterintothe75%RHHumidity
CalibrationStandard(REEDR9975)andpresstheMAX/MIN button
once the reading has stabilized which may take up to 10 minutes.
Disregard the actual nal reading on the meter once it
has stabilized before pressing the MIN/MAX button.
6. The calibration adjustment will be conrmed by a long beep.
7. After both calibrations are complete, the meter will resume
normal operation.
Note: The calibration steps can be cancelled at any point by pressing the
ON/OFFbutton.
Restoring Factory Settings
1. Turn the meter off.
2. Press the HOLD, °C/°F, and POWER button simultaneously,
then release.
3. WhentheLCDashes,presstheMAX/MIN button to restore factory
default settings.
4. A long beep will conrm factory settings have been restored. The
meter will then resume normal operation.
Battery Replacement
When the low battery indicator appears on the display, the battery
should be replaced. Remove the battery cover on the back and insert
anew9Vbattery.
