Product Specification: InDirect System
• Electric boiler with central heating boiler heat
exchange facility for the supply of hot water
• Power ratings of 2.7-3kW @ 230-240V
• Available in capacities of 144 and 210 litres
Installation:
• Supplied with pressure reducing valve incorporating
an in-line strainer, loose check valve, expansion
relief valve, temperature & pressure relief valve and
tundish making the LWC complete for installation
• Inlet and outlet connections are via 22mm
compression fittings
Installation accessories provided:
• Tundish
• Expansion valve set at 3bar
• Pressure reducing valve set at 1.5bar
• Line strainer
• 2 port diverter to secondary heating circuit (indirect only)
• Temperature and pressure relief valve
Flow Rates:
Balanced hot and cold water pressures give many
advantages. Flow rate, not pressure, is the true measure
of performance. The LWC units are comparable to any
other unvented cylinder currently listed by the BBA
pr
oviding a ‘power shower’ without a pump and filling a
bath in just a few minutes.

LWC Range
The LWC Range is a range of water
heating cylinders providing mains
pressure hot water. They do not require
a header feeder tank which allows
installation almost anywhere in the
property. LWC boilers reduce the risk of
water contamination, installation is
relatively simple therefore reducing cost.

• The heater shall be constructed of an ‘A’ grade copper
cylinder incorporating incoloy immersion heaters for
longer life. It shall incorporate an anode as standar

requiring no further servicing. Be insulated with CFC
free PU hard foam for reduced standard heat losses
and be encased in a leatherette grey steel cladding for
easy cleaning
• The heater shall be designed to incorporate an integral
expansion bubble reducing installation costs
• The heater shall have 3 levels of pressure and
temperature control provided as standard
• The heater shall be capable of water temperature
control between 20-65°C and shall incorporate an over
temperature limiter set at 80°C
• The heater shall be provided with all accessories
required to install the unit as standard, those being;
a tundish, expansion valve set at 3bar, pressure
reducing valve set at 1.5bar, line strainer and
temperature and pressure relief valve
• The water heater shall be approved by BEAB for
electrical safety, WRAS for connection to mains water
systems and CE compliant to the low voltage directive
and electro magnetic compatibility directive
