Gasket Maker/Sealants
Permatex® Thread Sealant with PTFE
Economical general-purpose fitting sealant. Out performs
tapes and pipe dopes. Seals and resists pressure in air, oil,
diesel fuel and hydraulic systems. Remains pliable at higher
and lower temperatures. Temperature range -65⁰F to 300⁰F;
resists common shop fluids. Suggested Applications: Air
conditioning fitting, temperature sending fittings, and
hydraulic fittings.

Thread Sealant
OEM specified. Locks and seals threaded fittings.
Resists leakage, vibration loosening, moisture,
hydraulic fluids and diesel fuels. Lubricates threads
for easy assembly and disassembly. Won’t shred or
wear like Teflon® tape. Parts may be repositioned
up to 4 hours after application. Temperature range
-65⁰F to 400⁰F. Contains PTFE.
Suggested
Applications: Head bolts into through holes, oil PSI sending
units and sensors, oil and coolant lines, fuel fittings, rear
axle fill plug, brake and power steering fittings.

Permatex® Pneumatic/Hydraulic Sealant
OEM specified. Designed for locking and sealing
high pressure hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Contains no fillers or particles which could
contaminate system fluids, foul valves, or clog fine
filters and screens. Reliably cures on “as received”
fasteners and controlled locking strength affords
easy disassembly.
Suggested Applications: Hydraulic
line fittings, brake fittings, transmission fluid fittings and
PTO fittings.

Permatex® Anaerobic Gasket Maker
OEM specified. Noncorrosive gasketing material
designed primarily for use on aluminum, iron, and
steel flanged mating surfaces. Ideal for on-theospot
and emergency repairs, or when conventional gasket
is unavailable . Fills gaps up to .015” and cures to a
solvent-resistant seal that will not tear or decay
during service. Parts disassemble easily even after
extened service and old gasket material can be
removed in minutes with a simple putty knife.
Suggested Applications:Water pumps, thermostat housings,
transmission pans, transmission case covers, transaxle
casings and o-ring replacement.

Permatex® Anaerobic Flange Sealant
Flexible, gasketing material for use on rigid
machined flanges with less than .015" gap. OEM
approved – use where OE’s specify “anaerobic”
gasket (cures in the absent of air). Withstands
temperatures to 300⁰F. Eliminates preformed, pre-
cut, paper, rubber and cork gaskets. Flexes with
flanges that move in service.
Suggested Applications:
Water pumps, thermostat housings, transmission pans,
transmission case covers, engine cases, timing covers,
transaxle casings and o-ring replacement.
