Operation Tips on lawn care Here are some tips to help you keep your lawn looking healthy and ensure uniform growth: • Frequent mowing promotes the growth of grass, resulting in strong roots. If you seldom cut the grass, you will enhance the development of high growing types of grass and weeds. • Time mowings so you’re never removing more than one-third of the total leaf surface (of a single grass blade) with each cutting. • Avoid scalping grass, which is cutting it too short.
