2 INSTALLATION
2.1 Mounting the main unit
The Tow-Pro
™
Classic should be mounted inside the vehicle using either M4 screws
or other secure fi tting methods at the mounting points provided. It is recommended to
mount the unit in a location which allows access to the intended remote head location.
The Tow-Pro
™
Classic can be mounted in any orientation
Ensure that the Tow-Pro
™
Classic is installed inside the vehicle and away from any
environmental conditions that may cause damage, including submersion in water, salt
spray and humidity. Contact with these conditions can cause damage to the unit’s
circuitry and may cause erratic trailer braking.
