THE BCDC MOUNTING BRACKET The REDARC BCDC Mounting Bracket is designed to install your BCDC in the cool airflow at the front of your vehicle, away from high temperature areas for maximum performance. The BCDC Mounting Bracket is constructed from durable stainless steel and has been designed to fit existing mounting points in your vehicle for ease of installation. This manual outlines installation of the BCDCMB-010 mounting bracket in the Nissan Patrol Y61, GU Series 4 to 9.

COMPLETED INSTALLATION The installed BCDCMB-010 Mounting Bracket locates on the passenger side, forward of the radiator. INSTALLATION STEP 1 Remove the 4 clips from the upper plastic shroud. To do this, partially raise the centre pin before pulling upwards. Remove the grille by pulling it towards you.
INSTALLATION STEP 2 4 × M6 × 12 Pan Head Bolt 4 × M6 Flat Washer 4 × M6 Nylon Locking Nut Fit the BCDC unit to the Mounting Bracket using the supplied M6 hardware using a #3 Phillips screw driver and a 10 mm socket wrench or equivalent.
INSTALLATION STEP 3 1 × M8 Flanged Nylon Locking Nut Loosely fit the top of the bracket to the threaded stud using 1 × supplied M8 flanged nylon locking nut. STEP 4 Loosen the top headlamp bolt, unscrewing it just enough that the nut remains attached. This is to allow the long tag bolt to pass unobstructed behind the headlamp bolt when it is inserted.
INSTALLATION STEP 5 1 × M6 Flanged Nylon Locking Nut 5b 1 × Long Tag Bolt Insert the Long tag bolt into the large rectangular hole at the bottom of the support upright (5a). TIP: The lower section of the tag tolt can be bent to make it easier to insert. Feed the threaded end of the tag bolt out through the hole near the top of the support upright, then loosely fit 1 × supplied M6 flanged nylon locking nut.
INSTALLATION STEP 6 1 × M6 Flanged Nylon Locking Nut 1 × Short Tag Bolt Insert the Short Tag Bolt through same large rectangular hole as the Long Tag Bolt. Feed the threaded end of the tag bolt out through the small rectangular hole in the middle of the support upright, then fit 1 × supplied M6 flanged nut. STEP 7 Tighten all fasteners, including headlamp upper nut loosened at Step 4.
