The REDARC BCDC Mounting Bracket Kit is designed to provide a way to install your
BCDC in the cool airflow at the front of your vehicle, away from high temperature
areas for maximum performance. The BCDC Mounting Bracket Kit is constructed from
durable stainless steel.
WARNING & SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Save these instructions—this manual contains important safety instructions for
the BCDCMB-007 Mounting Bracket.
Do not install the BCDC Mounting Bracket unless you have read and understood
these installation instructions.
This universal mounting kit allows the REDARC BCDC to be mounted in a vehicle’s
engine bay when a model-specific mounting bracket is not available. These
instructions are general and should be used as a guide only.
Take a few minutes to read through this installation guide before proceeding.
Verify the mounting position you have in mind will provide the BCDC with
adequate clearance, visibility and airflow as per the BCDC User Manual.
• Removing factory fitted screws may expose bare metal resulting in rust. Retouch
any exposed metal with rust inhibitor if it is not an earth connection.
• Damage to cabling can cause failure of BCDC and vehicle electrical systems.
Ensure wiring is clear of sharp edges and moving parts, and have enough slack
to allow for flexing.
