THE BCDC MOUNTING BRACKET The REDARC BCDC Mounting Bracket Kit is designed to provide a way to install your BCDC in the cool airflow at the front of your vehicle, away from high temperature areas for maximum performance. The BCDC Mounting Bracket Kit is constructed from durable stainless steel. Before installing the bracket you need to separate the components by breaking the small connecting tags between the parts. No tools are required.
INSTALLATION Step 1 • Separate the supporting brackets by moving the parts back and forth until the small connecting tags break. Note: All component parts of the bracket kit are attached to each other during manufacturing and transit. Step 2 • Design a layout for your bracket using as many of the bracket parts as needed.
INSTALLATION Step 4 • Fit the suitable REDARC Fuse Kit (FK40 or FK60) as close as possible to the battery according to the REDARC BCDC Instruction Manual BCDC1220—Use FK40 BCDC1225D—Use FK40 BCDC1240D/1250D—Use FK60 Step 5 • Use appropriate fasteners to suit mounting the completed bracket and charge assembly to the vehicle in the chosen location. Take care to ensure that any new holes are treated to prevent corrosion. Step 6 • Ensure all fasteners are tight and that the overall mounting is secure.
