Step 7
• Fit M8 bolt with flat washer and
Nylon locking nut to the grille
support mount. Complete BCDC
wiring.
Damage to cabling can cause failure of
BCDC and vehicle electrical systems.
Ensure wiring is clear of sharp edges
and moving parts, and have enough
slack to allow for flexing.
Step 8
• Tighten the bolts to secure the BCDC mounting bracket. Ensure all factory
fasteners are tightened correctly to the vehicle manufacturers torque
specifications. Tighten the installed M8x20 bolts to 15 Nm.
Step 9
• Re-fit the plastic trim when BCDC wiring and mounting is complete. Check
inspection hole for alignment with BCDC, trim evenly as required, clean and
deburr plastic.
PERIODIC MAINTENANCE/CHECKS
Check the BCDC is clear of combustibles during regular servicing of the vehicle. Build-
up of combustible materials around the bracket may result in a fire hazard.
