PRESET COULD NOT BE APPLIED
SYMPTOM
The camera displays the following message: “Preset Could Not Be Applied”.
POTENTIAL RESOLUTION
Power down the camera, power it back up, and attempt to apply the preset that failed.
CAMERA DOES NOT RECOGNIZE PL LENS
SYMPTOM
The camera does not recognize the attached PL lens.
POTENTIAL RESOLUTION
Ensure that the camera is providing power to the lens.
1. Go to Menu > Settings > Setup > Lens.
2. Select the Enable Power to Lens check box.
3. The lens should be successfully connected. However, if lens data does not display within 10 seconds, go
to Menu > Settings > Setup > Lens and select Detect Lens.
CAMERA CANNOT BE PAIRED TO REDMOTE
SYMPTOM
The camera cannot pair to the REDMOTE.
POTENTIAL RESOLUTIONS
 Ensure REDMOTE display indicates IDLE before attempting to pair the camera to the REDMOTE.
 Ensure the REDMOTE is detached from the rear of the camera body and powered on.
 Ensure the REDMOTE wireless in turned on.
 Ensure camera does not display REDLINK Upgrade Required.
