Subject to any limitation in the Additional License Provisions, if
any, you may:
• use only one copy of the Software on any accompanying Hardware;
• use the Software in only machine-readable form
• make copies of the Software for back-up purposes, but you may not
use the back-up copies other than as a replacement for the original
copy. You must include all copyright and other notices included on
the Software on any copies you make;
• make copies of the documentation, the written materials or elec-
tronic user information accompanying the Software and/or the Hard-
ware (if any) supplied by Red-M, but only for use within the
organization to which you belong, and only for the purposes of
installing and using the Software and the Hardware. You must
include all copyright and other notices included on the materials on
any copies you make.
Except as otherwise permitted pursuant to this Agreement, you
may not:
• make any copies of any of the Software other than for back-up pur-
poses as permitted above;
• sublicense, rent, loan or lease the Software or documentation to
another, except where you are leasing Red-M Hardware with which
or for which the Software was supplied (if any) to an end user, and in
such circumstances, you agree on behalf of the end user to be bound
by all of the terms of this Agreement;
• decompile, disassemble, reverse engineer, or modify in any way, any
of the Hardware, Software or other Red-M Products, except to the
extent that this restriction is expressly prohibited by applicable law;
• transfer or assign your rights to use the Software except upon a
transfer of any associated Red-M hardware
• transfer or assign your rights to use the Software except upon a
transfer of any associated Red-M hardware with which or for which
the Software was supplied (if any), and in such circumstances, you
agree on behalf of the end user to be bound by all of the terms of
this Agreement;
• use the Software in a life-support or safety system or in any other
application in which the failure of the Software or Hardware could
create a situation where personal injury or death may occur, without
the prior approval of Red-M, and in any event, you shall take full
responsibility for any such use.
• use the Software for any purpose other than as permitted in this
Agreement.
You acknowledge and agree that:
• if you upgrade any older Red-M products ("Upgraded Products
") with
any of the Software, then you agree that this Agreement will there-
after apply to such Upgraded Products.
• if you obtain any other Red-M software and are not bound by a writ-
ten Red-M user license agreement, then you agree that you are
using such software in accordance with the applicable terms of this
Agreement;
