To configure a HotSync operation with a mobile phone
1. Follow the instructions to connect to your
mobile phone on page 14 up to and including
step 7.
2. Set up your company dial-up details:
i. Go to System, Prefs and from the pick list
on the upper-right corner of the screen,
select Network
ii. Tap the Menu icon and tap New.
iii. Give the Service a name; this name will
be used to select this service from the
Network, Services pick list.
iv. Select Bt Dial-up as the connection type
using the Connection drop-down menu.
v. Enter the telephone number of your
company’s dial-up service and your
username and password.
vi. Tap OK.

HotSync icon .
4. Tap Modem on the HotSync dialog to select
the Modem tab.
5. Tap the Menu icon and select Modem
Sync Prefs. Select Network and tap OK.
