ToaddanIPinIPTunnel:
• ClickontheAddbuttonandthefollowingwindowwillappear:
TunnelID(Required):Enterauniquenumericalidentifierinthisfield.Itwi llbeusedfornamingthetunnelinterface
whichwillappearintheinterfacelistastunl1,tunl2,etc.dependingon
theIDsprovided.
EnableTunnel:SelectYestoenablethetunnel.
LocalIPAddress(Required):Setthefixedlocaladdressfortunneledpackets.Note:Ifsupplied,theLocalIPAddress
mustbeanaddressonanotherinterfaceofthishost.Ifnotsupplied,tunneledpacketscanbereceivedfromanyinter‐
face.
LocalSubnet(Required):Setthelocal,privateIPPnetwork/mask.
RemoteIPAddress(Required):SettheIPAddressoftheremoteendpointforthistunnel.
RemoteSubnet(Required):Settheremote,privateIPnetwork/mask.
Time‐To‐Live(Required):SetafixedTime‐To‐Livefortunneledpackets.Note:Valuesover64causeconnection
failures.
StartTunnelatboot:SelectYestoallowtheinterfacetobecomeactiveatsystemstart.
• ClickontheFinishbutton.YouwillbereturnedtotheIPinIPdialogwindowandtheIPinIPTunnelsTablewillnow
bepopulatedwiththerecentlyentereddata.
• To
deleteanexistingrule,selectitinthetableandclickontheDeletebutton.Toeditanexistingrule,selectitin
thetableandclickontheEditbutton.
• Clickonthe“Save”buttonforchangestobesave dwithoutactivatingtheinterfaceuntilyoureboottheunit,the
“Apply ” buttonwillsaveyoursettingsandapplythemimmediately.Toreverttothepreviousdefaults,clickonthe
“Revert”button.
