• ClickontheFinishbutton.YouwillbereturnedtotheFirewallAccessControlList(ACL)Rulesdialogwindowand
theFilterRulestablewillnowbepopulatedwiththerecentlyentereddata.
• Todeleteanexistingrule,selectitinthetableandclickontheDeletebutton.To
editanexistingrule ,selectitin
thetableandclickontheEditbutt
• Clickonthe“Save”buttonforchangestobesave dwithoutactivatingtheinterfaceuntilyoureboottheunit,the
“Apply ” buttonwillsaveyoursettingsandapplythemimmediately.Toreverttotheprevious
defaults,clickonthe
“Revert”button.

DMZrulesareusedtoconfigurerulestoroutethroughaDemilitarizedZone(DMZ),Masqueraderulesareusedtoconfig‐
ureaninterfacetogiveallIPAddressesonalocalnetworkaccesstotheinternet,whileNAT(NetworkAddressTranslation)
rulesprovideaccesstotheInternetthrougha singlemachinethat
translatestheIPaddresses.
MasqueradeRules:TheMASQrulesenableaccesstotheInternetthroughasingleunit/interfacethattranslatestheIP
addresses.TheunititselfhasoneormoreIPaddresses,butalltheIP’sbehindtheMASQhave‘private’Internetaddresses.
