EnterVlanIDnumber(Required):EnterthedesiredVlanIDinterfacenumberin thefieldprovided.Thevalidrangeis
0‐4096andeachinterfacemustbeuniquelynumbered.ThefinalVlanIDwillthenbeintheformethx.ywherexisthe
rootinterfacenumberandyisthe
vlanIDnumber.YourNetworkAdministratorshouldbeabletoprovideguidanceas
toanappropriatevalue.
EnterIPAddress(Required):EnterthedesiredinterfaceIPAddressintothisfield.Thisaddressshouldhavebeenpro‐
videdbyyourNetworkAdministrator.
EnterNetmask:Ent erthedesiredNetmaskfortheVlaninterface
inthefieldprovided.YouNetworkAdministrator
shouldbeabletoprovideanappropriatenumber.
• ClickontheFinishbuttonandyouwillbedirectedtotheEthernetInterfacedialogwindowandtheInterface
Aliasestablewillbepopulatedwiththeentereddata.
Reboot:Willrestartthesystemandapplyall
thesettingsuponreboot.
Revert:Willrevertthesettingsinthedialogwindowbacktotheprevioussavedsettings.
Save:Theinterfacewillnotbeactivatedordeactivateduntilthedeviceisrebooted.Thisallowsforotherconfiguration
changestobemadetothedevicewhichcanbecommittedatalater
time.
Apply:Thecurrentsettingswillbesavedandtheinterfacewilleitherbeactivatedordeactivatedimmediately.Ifthe
interfacewasalreadyactive,thenitwillbedeactivateandreactivatedusingtheconfiguredsettingsjustsaved.Ifyou
wereconnectedtotheWebUIviathisinterface,anattemptwill
bemadetore‐connecttoitusingthenewsettings,
whenpossible.
Applyingnewsettingstotheinterfacemayresultindisconnection,requiringreconnectionusingalternatemethods.
Incompleteorincorrectnetworksettingscouldrenderthedeviceincommunicableandmayrequirebeingabletoconnect
eithertothedevicedirectlyor
viathenetworktowhichitisattached.
