TheFirmwareUpdatemenuitemis usedtoupgradethefirmwareoftheRedLionrouter.
• ClickontheFirmwareUpdatemenuitemandthefollowingwindowwillappear:
ToupgradethefirmwareoftheRedLionrouter:
BootImageFile:SelectthefilethatwillperformtheKernelupdate.
RootImage
File:Selectthefilethatwillperformthesystemupdate.
Preservecurrentconfiguration:SelectYEStosav ethedevice’scurrentconfigurationandrestoreitafterthefirmware
imageisinstalled.
• Clickonthe“Install”button.
Note:Thisprocedurecouldtakeanywherefrom6‐10minutestocomplete.
WARNING:Itisimportantthat
thepowertotheunitisnotinterruptedatanytimeduringtheupgradeprocess,asthis
couldcausetheunittobecomecorruptandrequireshipmentbacktothefactorytocorrect.
