How to use SSL with the ebXML Message
Service
This chapter explains how to use SSL with the ebXML Message Service.
With the ebXML Message Service, you can use the following two environments that manage certificates
and private-keys required for encryption and signature processing:
• Interstage certificate environment
• Former certificate/key management environment
Configure whichever of the above two environments is appropriate.
Interstage Certificate Environment
To use an Interstage certificate environment, configure an SSL environment by referring to Configuring
and using an Interstage certificate environment. Then, set up the environment so that the SSL function
can be used from the ebXML Message Service by referring to the ebXML Message Service User's Guide.
Former Certificate/Key Management Environment
To use a former certificate/key management environment, configure a former certificate/key management
environment for the SOAP service by referring to Setting up an environment for using security functions
from the Web service (SOAP).
