Using a CORBA/SOAP Gateway
14-15
Using a CORBA/SOAP Gateway
If SSL encrypted communication is to be performed in a system environment using a CORBA/SOAP
gateway, a Web service security environment and CORBA service SSL environment must be configured.
Using a CORBA/SOAP Server Gateway
The CORBA/SOAP server gateway operates as a Web service RPC server application, and also as a
CORBA client application in a server system.
SSL encrypted communication of the Web service can be defined in the Web server SSL environment
configuration. From the Interstage Management Console, select [System] > [Services] > [Web Server] >
[Web Server Settings], and then [Detailed Settings] and make a definition in "SSL Definition".
For SSL environment configuration for CORBA client applications, refer to "Using CORBA service in
SSL mode."
Using a CORBA/SOAP Client Gateway
The CORBA/SOAP client gateway operates as a Web service CORBA server application and also as an
RPC client application in a server system.
Refer to Chapter 7 Setting and Use of the Interstage Certificate Environment for SSL environment
configuration for the Web service. Refer to Chapter 10 How to Use SSL with the CORBA Service or
SSL environment configuration for CORBA client applications. Refer also to soapgwaddclgw Command
in the Reference Manual (Command Edition).
