Security Functions for Web Services (SOAP)
Security at the SOAP message level can be ensured by using the digital signature (SOAP digital
signature) function and encryption (XML encryption) function. The reliable messaging function is used to
guarantee that messages have been delivered reliably to the transmission destination and to prove that
SOAP messages have been exchanged.
