Setting the Directory Server Environment
To use the online collation function, the environment of the directory server need be set up.
The following operations are required for setting up the directory server environment:
1. Preparing the Directory Server
2. Creating Entries
Preparing the Directory Server
Prepare the directory server and generate a repository (DSA). To perform secure communication
between Interstage HTTP Server and directory server using the SSL, also the SSL environment needs
to be set up in the directory server.
For the directory server, refer to the Smart Repository Operator's Guide.
Creating Entries
On the directory server, create entries for user and group information with an entry management tool.
If user authentication is set with a group name, the Interstage HTTP Server environment definition file
need not be edited even when user information is changed.
Creating User Entry
Create the user entry with the following inetOrgPerson object class.
For the user entry, the following items must be set.

Item Description
cn attribute Sets a user entry name.
uid attribute Sets a user name for online collation.
userPassword attribute Sets a password associated with the user name.
