User Related Operation
This section explains how to manage user-related operations. Single Sign-on users are managed in the
SSO repository. To add a user, add the user entry to the user information in the SSO repository and
specify the user ID, password, and role name.

Adding a User
To add a user entry to the user information managed in the SSO repository, use the user program. For
details about the user program, refer to “Preparation for a User Program”.
When adding a user entry, note the following points:
If the authentication method is “certificate authentication” or “password authentication and
certificate authentication,” a certificate must be distributed to the user.
If the authentication method is “password authentication or certificate authentication,” a certificate
must also be distributed to a certificate authenticated user.
The addition of new users is effective immediately. The repository server, authentication server,
and business server need not be running.

Deleting a User
To delete a user entry from the user information managed in the SSO repository, use the user program.
For details about the user program, refer to “Preparation for a User Program”.
Deletion of users is effective immediately. The repository server, authentication server, and business
