4 Provide the following details:
The Status panel displays the related messages as the Standalone Server is started.
Connecting to Standalone Server
Once the Server starts, the ‘Start’ button is replaced by the ‘Connect’ button. To connect to the
Server:
1 Click ‘Connect’. This displays the login screen for the Console.
2 Enter the relevant user name and password. For the user name root, the password is pramati.
Click ‘Login’.
3 The Console Home page appears. The configuration details of the connected server are displayed
in the ‘Server Configuration’ section. The name of the new server is displayed in the Details panel
on the Console.
Stopping Standalone Server
To stop a connected server, click the ‘Stop Server’ link on the Console page. This prompts you to
confirm if you really want to stop the server.
Clicking ‘OK’ stops the running server, and displays the message for the same. On the Server
Administration Service Home page, click ‘Refresh’ button provided. The ‘Connect’ button for the
new server changes back to ‘Start’.
Note: You must refresh the main page to verify the status.
Removing Standalone Server
You can remove a server only if it is not running. To remove a server:
1 Stop the Server using the Console.
2 On the Server Administration Service Home page, scroll down and click ‘Refresh’. This displays
the ‘Connect’ button for the Standalone server (Demo_Server here) as changed back to ‘Start’.
3 Select ‘Demo_Server’ using the check box provided.
4 Click ‘Delete’ to remove the server.

Fields Description
Realm Provide here the Realm name. By default, this appears as system. This is a mandatory field.
Username Provide here the Username for the specified Realm. By default, this appears as root for the system
Realm. This is a mandatory field.
Password Provide here the password for authenticating the Username. For the Username root, the default
password is pramati. This is a mandatory field.
JVM options Provide here the JVM options, (-D or -X) if you want to pass any Java options.
