Installing Pramati Server on Windows
To install Pramati Server on Windows:
5 Verify your existing system configuration against the requirements for Pramati Server.
6 Execute PServer41.exe from the directory where the installation file is downloaded (or
from the CD, if you are installing from a product distribution CD).
7 The installation wizard starts and the license agreement appears. Read the license
agreement. To proceed with the installation, check "I accept the terms of license
agreement" and click ‘Next’.
8 Select the components to install and name the directory where they should be installed.
9 Specify the path of the supported JDK (say, JDK 1.3.1_01) installed on the machine.
Specifying an incorrect path leads to an installation failure.
10 Enter the licensee name. This can be the name of the evaluator or the customer in whose
name the license has been issued.
11 Enter the license key.
The installation starts using the above values. A successful installation will install all the
specified components under the specified installation directory. Shortcuts are created under
the Start > Programs menu.
Installing in non-GUI mode from command line
Server can be installed in an interactive command line mode, instead of the GUI-based
installation wizard. This is possible only with the JAR distribution,
PServer41.jar, of the
Server, which is available with the installation CD. The JAR distribution installs on
Windows as well as Unix. Run
java -jar PServer41.jar -cmdLine at the command
prompt and enter these values as the command line prompts:
