Receiving License Key
Normally, after the registration process is complete and the file is downloaded from
www.pramati.com, an evaluation license key is send to the e-mail address specified by you during
registration.
If you have purchased the product and are installing from a product distribution CD, the license key
is provided with the CD package in a printed license certificate.
If you have trouble with using the license key, send a mail to [e-mail].
Upgrading License
License can be upgraded using the following two methods:
• Using the command shell
• At Server Startup
Upgrading License using Command Shell
To upgrade the license using the command shell, use the upgrade_license command. The
following steps are interactive. See below for a sample license upgrade:
j2eeadmin@default> upgrade_license

Note: Fields followed by * are mandatory
You can press 'Enter' for default values shown in [ ]
Typing 'q' and pressing enter at any point will cancel the current command

Upgrading License at Server Startup
License can also be upgraded at server startup by using the -upgradelicense option as shown in the
example below:
> runserver -upgradelicense XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
