Software Requirements
The JDK and Browser requirements are provided in the following sections.
JDK
Pramati Server has been tested on JDK 1.3.1_01 and above, including JDK1.4.
Browser
Pramati Server can be administered over the web using the Pramati Server Management Console.
The Console has been tested with the following browsers that support HTML 3.2:
• Internet Explorer 5.5 or above
• Netscape 4.7 or above
•Opera 5.1
•Mozilla
Database Requirements
Pramati Server is built to the J2EE platform specification and works with any RDBMS that supports
JDBC 2.0 standard extensions. The Server has been tested with the following database servers:
The Release Notes contain the complete and latest platform certification report and is available on the
website (www.pramati.com) or along with the Server installation.
Verifying and Using JDK and JRE
To verify the JDK version on your machine, enter java -version at the command prompt. The
value that is returned is the JDK version on your machine.
