Upgrading Pramati Server License
This chapter discusses how to obtain license information and upgrade license of the server.
Reading the Current License Information
To obtain license information, the command license_details can be used:
j2eeadmin@default> license_details
License Information:
Licensee : XXXXXX
Installation Date : 21 Jan 2004
Expiry Date : 21 Jan 2006
License Type : Development
Product : Pramati Server 4.1
Start Date : --

Upgrading license
In a production environment, once the key expires, the current license can be upgraded
from Server J2EE Shell using the following command:
upgrade_license <new_key>
Server asks for some information that are shown in the following sample:
Please Enter the following values required by the command:
Note: Fields followed by * are mandatory
You can press 'Enter' for default values shown in [ ]
Typing 'q' and pressing enter at any point will cancel the cur-
rent command
