Setting Up the Windows Host
When!using!VMware!Server!on!a!Windows!host!with!teamed!network!adapters!and!
bridged!networking,!the!VMware!Bridge!Protocol!must!be!bound!to!the!teamed!
network!adapter!and!unbound!from!the!individual!physical!network!adapters.!
To set up bridged networking on a Windows host
1Open!the!Windows!Control!Panel,!and!open!Network!Connections!(on!a!Windows!
Server!2003!host)!or
!open!Network!and!Dialup!Connections!(on!a!Windows!2000!
host).
2Rightclick!the!teamed!NIC!device,!and!choose!Properties!to!bind!the!VMware!
Bridge!Protocol!to!the!teamed!NIC.
3Check!VMware!Bridge!Protocol.!
