Chapter 6 Replacing Parts

2. With the drive ejector handle open, slide the drive into the Hot Swap assembly.

3. Once it is fully seated, close the latch.

Replacing Non Hot Swap Drives

The non-hot swap drives are in bays over the Hot Swap drive cage. These are typically 3.5 inch (90mm) hard

disk drives mounted in trays which adapt them to the 5.25 inch (130mm) drive bays.
