Device: By Device
Lab el
Specifies the quorum disk label created by the mkq d i sk utility. If this field
is used, the quorum daemon reads the /pro c/partiti o ns file and
checks for qdisk signatures on every block device found, comparing the
label against the specified label. This is useful in configurations where
the quorum device name differs among nodes.
Heu rist ics
Pat h t o Pro g ram — The program used to determine if this heuristic is
available. This can be anything that can be executed by /bi n/sh -c. A
return value of 0 indicates success; anything else indicates failure. This
field is required.
In t erval — The frequency (in seconds) at which the heuristic is polled.
The default interval for every heuristic is 2 seconds.
Sco re — The weight of this heuristic. The default score for each heuristic
is 1.
T K O — The number of consecutive failures required before this heuristic
is declared unavailable.
Min imum To t al
Sco re
The minimum score for a node to be considered " alive". If omitted or set to
0, the default function, flo o r((n+ 1)/2), is used, where n is the sum of
the heuristics scores. The Min imum To t al Sco re value must never
exceed the sum of the heuristic scores; otherwise, the quorum disk cannot
be available.

Note
Clicking Ap p ly on the Q D isk Co n f ig u rat io n tab propagates changes to the cluster
configuration file (/etc/cl uster/cl uster. co nf) in each cluster node. However, for the
quorum disk to operate or for any modifications you have made to the quorum disk
parameters to take effect, you must restart the cluster (refer to Section 4.4, Starting, Stopping,
Restarting, and Deleting Clusters), ensuring that you have restarted the q d i skd daemon on
each node.
3.5.6. Logging Configurat ion
Clicking on the Log g in g tab displays the Log g in g Co n f ig u rat io n page, which provides an
interface for configuring logging settings.
You can configure the following settings for global logging configuration:
Checking Log Deb u g g in g Messag es enables debugging messages in the log file.
Checking Log Messag es t o Syslo g enables messages to sysl o g . You can select the Syslo g
Messag e Facilit y and the Syslo g Messag e Prio rit y. The Syslo g Messag e Prio rit y setting
indicates that messages at the selected level and higher are sent to sysl o g .
Checking Log Messag es t o Lo g File enables messages to the log file. You can specify the Log
File Pat h name. The lo g f ile messag e p rio rit y setting indicates that messages at the selected
level and higher are written to the log file.
You can override the global logging settings for specific daemons by selecting one of the daemons
listed beneath the Daemon - sp ecif ic Lo g g in g O verrid es heading at the bottom of the Log g in g
