3. Enter the following parameters on the Creat e New Clu st er dialog box, as necessary:
At the Clu st er Name text box, enter a cluster name. The cluster name cannot exceed 15
characters.
If each node in the cluster has the same ricci password, you can check U se t h e same
p asswo rd f o r all n o d es to autofill the p asswo rd field as you add nodes.
Enter the node name for a node in the cluster in the No d e N ame column and enter the
ricci password for the node in the Passwo rd column. A node name can be up to 255
bytes in length.
If your system is configured with a dedicated private network that is used only for cluster
traffic, you may want to configure lu ci to communicate with ricci on an address that is
different from the address to which the cluster node name resolves. You can do this by
entering that address as the Ricci Ho st n ame.
If you are using a different port for the ricci agent than the default of 11111, you can
change that parameter.
Click Ad d An o t h er N o d e and enter the node name and ricci password for each
additional node in the cluster.
If you do not want to upgrade the cluster software packages that are already installed on
the nodes when you create the cluster, leave the Use lo cally in st alled p ackag es
option selected. If you want to upgrade all cluster software packages, select the
Do wn lo ad Packag es option.
