Using the Optitek ProLock Nikon Mount
The Optitek ProLock Mount allows the use of Nikon DSLR lenses on the EPIC camera.
An optional adapter gear from Gates is necessary for use with DEEP DRAGON.
 Check for Gear Teeth Clearance to DRAGON fan shroud. Refer to the image
on the next page. If you have the Dragon fan installed, the fan shroud may
interfere with the gear teeth of the Optitek ProLock mount. If so, you will need to
make clearance in the region indicated by grinding or milling away material on the
backside of the teeth.
 Install the Gear Adapter. Refer to the image above. Position the Gear Adapter
on one side and ‘roll’ the Gear Adapter clockwise over the red Optitek gear teeth.
