 NOTE. The nature of the ‘pass through’ monitor cable means a vacuum is drawn on
the monitor shell at the same time as the DEEP DRAGON housing. After verifying
Seal Check integrity on DEEP DRAGON, the external monitor is now under vacuum
and cannot be opened independently.
 NOTE. Inspect the monitor cable regularly. While it is a durable marine grade cable,
care must be exercised to avoid cuts or abrasions that could compromise the cable,
and thus the housing seal.
Final Checks
 Visual Inspection. Look closely at all seal mates – Port, Port Extender and main
Housing seal – for gaps. Look over the housing one final time.
 Verify operation. As a final check, power on the camera and verify all controls are
functioning normally.
