Extinguishing Media: Carbon Dioxide, Dry Chemical, Foam, Water Fog. Use extinguishing
materials suitable for the surrounding fire.
Fire Fighting Measures: Wear self-contained breathing apparatus pressure demand (NIOSH
approved or equivalent) & full protective gear. Use water spray to cool exposed surfaces. Toxic
gases may form when product burns.
Unusual Fire Hazards: None known.
Section 6 Accidental Release Measures
Personal Protective Equipment:
Small Spills: 1 drum or less Level D Equipment (gloves, chemical resistant apron,
boots & eye protection).
Large Spills: Rubber gloves, rubber boots, face shield & Tyvek suit as a minimum.
Minimum level of PPE for releases in which the oxygen level is < 19.5% or is unknown,
should be Level B: triple gloves (rubber gloves & nitrile gloves over latex gloves),
chemical resistant suit, fire-retardant clothing & boots, hard hat & self-contained
breathing apparatus.
Clean-up & Containment: Restrict access to spill area. Gently cover spill w/ polypads.
Scrape up/pick up spilled material & place in suitable containers. Absorb residual w/
material such as sand. Place contaminated absorbent & other materials in appropriate
containers & seal. Do not mix w/ wastes from other materials. Dispose of in accordance
w/ applicable Federal, State & Local procedures. Dispose of recovered material & report
spill as per regulatory requirements. Clean spill area w/ soap & water.
Environmental Precautions: Minimize use of water to prevent environmental
contamination. Prevent spill or rinse from contaminating storm drains, sewers, soil or
groundwater. Place spill residues in suitable container & seal. Do not allow discharge
containing this material to enter streams, ponds, estuaries, oceans or other waters unless
in accordance w/ requirements of National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System
(NPDES) permit & permitting authority has been notified in writing prior to discharge.
Do not allow discharge containing this material to enter sewer systems w/o previously
notifying local sewage treatment plant authority. For information, contact State Water
Board or EPA Regional Office.
Other: U.S. regulations may require reporting of spills of this material reaching surface
waters if sheen is formed.

Section 7 Handling & Storage
Handling: Keep out of reach of children & pets. Do not take internally. Do not breathe vapors. Use
only w/ adequate ventilation. Wash thoroughly after handling. Avoid contact w/ eyes, skin &
clothing. Open windows & doors to ensure cross-ventilation & fresh air during application &
curing. Odor is not an adequate warning of hazardous conditions. Avoid contact w/ eyes &
prolonged contact w/ skin or breathing of vapors or sanding dust. Close container after each use.
Storage: Store containers away from excessive heat & freezing. Do not store @ temperatures
above 120F.
