During the operation it is normal for the unit to issue a short hum
from the cooling compressors every cycle as they are used to cool
the plate
Once the experiment is complete the clamps will release and an
information window will pop up to confirm this.

7.2.5 Experiment Results and Analysis
At the end of an experiment the results are displayed as shown in
Figure 17. Depending on the type of experiment different
parameters are shown. For a PCR run the Ct is calculated
whereas for a MELT it will be Tm.
The results graph has a number of options for displaying the
results. The curves can be smoothed or just show the raw data.
Similarly the data can be shown with the background fluorescence
removed (
BASELINE SUBTRACT
) or not. Touch the tiles on the right
to toggle these filters on and off.
The
PCR
or
MELT
and
ANALYSIS
tab tiles on the top left of the
screen change the view from the graph to a results template.
