INSTRUCTIONS
READ MSDS, ALL DIRECTIONS AND WARNINGS ON LABEL BEFORE USING
WEAR SAFETY GOGGLES AND RUBBER OR PLASTIC GLOVES
1. Add full contents of package to 2 gallons of water into plastic bucket.
2. Mix the powder in water until completely dissolved.
3. Shut off water supply to the water heater from the inlet and outlet valve and relieve pressure.
4. Disconnect the water heater at the energy source. Disconnect inlet and outlet water valves.
5. Use a recirculation pump to feed the cleaning solution into the water heater. Recirculate for 20
minutes or until the unit is clean. Clean the heat exchanger only.
Follow your service manual for specific cleaning instructions.
6. After cleaning, dispose used cleaning chemicals in accordance with local regulations.
7. With the energy source turned off, flush the water heater thoroughly for 10 minutes with cold
water.
8. Reconnect the water heater to the energy source.

CONTAINS: Inorganic Acid. Do not get in eyes, on skin, or on clothing. Wear goggles or face shield, protective
clothing and rubber gloves. Wash thoroughly after handling. Remove contaminated clothing and wash before reuse.
FIRST AID: In case of exposure, contact physician immediately. Eyes - Hold eyes open and rinse gently with
water for 15 minutes. Skin – Remove contaminated clothing immediately. Rinse skin with plenty of water for 15
minutes. Ingestion – DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING. Only if conscious, give large amounts of water. Inhalation
- Remove to fresh air. If not breathing, give artificial respiration. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. Use With
Adequate Ventilation. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.

INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANT ABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND OF ANY OTHER
OBLIGATION ON THE PART OF RECTORSEAL. The sole remedy for breach of the Limited Express Warranty shall be the refund of the purchase price. All
other liability is negated and disclaimed, and RectorSeal shall not be liable for incidental or consequential damages.
