Why can’t I get
afullcharge?
Steps to take:
• CheckthatyouareusingtheReconACadapterandUSBcable
includedintheMODbox.CheckthattheACcablesaysRecon
Instruments.
• TurnMODobeforeyourecharge.
• TurnonyourPCorMac;makesureitisnotinstandbymode.
CheckthattheportonyourPCorMacisaUSB2.0port
(notakeyboardport).
• Duringrecharging,checkthattheredlightabovetheUSBport
appears.ThisshowsthatMODissllcharging.
Whydoesmybaery
drainsoquickly?
Extremelylowtemperaturescanaccountforaquickdrain.
At-10°C(14°F),afullychargedbaerylastsbetween6to8hours.
Ifthetemperaturedipsbelow-20°C(-4°F),thechargewon’tlast
as long.
Tipstoprolongbaerylife:
• AvoidusingMODattemperaturesbelow-20°C(-4°F).
• TurnothepowerwhenyouarenotusingMOD.
• Use the DISPLAY OFF feature when you are not using MOD.
• Turnthebrightnessdownto1or2.
