Modbus TCP/IP Server Configuration
Click the Modbus TCP/IP Server button to access the configuration page.
1) Enter a Device Label to identify the device within the gateway.
2) TCP Port: Enter in a TCP Port for the Modbus TCP Server to listen on. Default for Modbus TCP/IP
is 502.
3) Unit ID: This Unit ID must be unique for all Modbus TCP Server devices on the TCP network.
4) Inactivity Timeout: Amount of time the gateway will wait for a read/write request before
issuing a timeout.
5) To enable data swapping, select the required Swap Indicator. If the bytes appear in the wrong
order, enable swapping to change the data. This swapping does NOT change Coils and their
ordering inside the Bit Pack.
6) Bit Pack: Select the formatting of the Coil Status/Input Status. Automap will use this packing size
to map coils to/from the other protocol. The bit pack selection here should match that of the
other protocol. The starting address is considered Bit 0 and is the low-order bit.
