2. Double-click the RealFlight 6.5 Launcher located on your desktop.
3. To start the simulation, click the Run RealFlight button.
The program will start by displaying a Welcome Screen. The Welcome Screen allows
you to choose an aircraft, flying site or a scenario (a pre-selected combination of
aircraft and flying site). Listed at the bottom are the most recently flown aircraft. If
you have a few aircraft that you most frequently fly, odds are they are listed here.
From the Welcome Screen, you can also access helpful videos. The videos will walk
you through some of the more popular features of RealFlight. For true beginners of
R/C, the training videos are a great place to start, teaching you the basic controls for
flight.
If you’d like, you can disable the Welcome Screen by unchecking the box labeled Show
this dialog on startup. You may access the Welcome Screen at any time through the Help
menu.
The Main RealFlight Display-
RealFlight 6.5 is a menu-driven program. As seen in the picture below, a menu bar
appears across the top of the RealFlight screen. Those menus contain additional sub-
menu items and pull-down lists for the related options of the respective menu. These
