Raise and support vehicle by frame on jack stands Support rear axle with jack
Disconnect lower shock from mount Remove u-bolt mounting hardware
Remove u-bolts and axle mounting plate Carefully lower axle enough to install new block
4WD models shows factory block 4WD models lower axle and remove factory block
