Installation Procedures PHYSICAL INSTALLATION Before you begin installing your Ready Access Air Curtain, you must determine what type of installation will be required. Wood Frame, Masonry Framing, etc. See the illustration below to determine your rough opening size and mounting. Warning: Two people are required for the lifting and installation of the air curtain. Figure 2 CONFIRM THAT THE CUSTOMER-SUPPLIED FRAME IS MADE TO ACCOMMODATE THE DIMENSIONS AS ILLUSTRATED ABOVE.
Electrical Installation All power must be connected and wired by a qualified electrician and must be in compliance with all state and local codes. Terminal Block AC Input Match wires Color for Color The incoming AC power line must be connected to the terminal block located in tray. (Per Standard electrical code.) The green “grounding” wire is to be attached to the frame of the unit. WARNING: Use only 208/240 VAC – 60Hz / Single Phase source with a dedicated 40 Amp circuit.
Initial Window Operation Control Identification and Operation Switch Identification Winter / Summer (Main) Function Switches between the three modes of operation. Outside Heat Enables the “Outside Heater” for Winter operation Inside Heat Enables the “Inside Heater” for Winter operation. Modes of Operation The AA300 has three modes of operation. Shutdown, Summer and Winter. Shut Down: All switches are in the “OFF” position. The unit has no operations.
Maintenance Maintenance Schedule Scheduled maintenance should be performed on a regular basis. This is to assure proper operation and performance of the AA300 Air Curtain. DAILY Check the air vents and ducts for foreign materials. (Anything that might cause restricted air flow or damage to the air curtain.) MONTHLY Follow safety procedures before opening the unit. Check the interior of the unit for any build up of any foreign materials using a dry cloth. NOTE: KEEP ANY LIQUIDS OFF THE INTERIOR COMPONENTS.
SERVICE Issue Probable Cause Resolution Both Heaters Inoperable. No power to the unit. Switches do not illuminate. Check / Reset the main circuit breaker or switch. Fuse 1 and/or 2 is blown. Replace the blown fuse/s. Defective power supply. Replace the power supply. Power supply output is shorted. Find and correct short. If Relay #2 LED is “ON”. Replace the blown fuse/s. Blown Blower Fuse or Defective Blower. Replace the blower. If Relay #2 LED is “OFF”. Replace the defective component.

Appendix “A” Replacement Procedures to Follow When Replacing the Heater Assembly WARNING! To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock or injury to persons, observe the following: 1. Before servicing unit, switch power off at the mechanical switch near the unit (installed by electrician) or electrical entry service panel / circuit breaker.
