To prevent electric shock hazard, do not connect to mains power supply while grille is removed WARNING! to reduce the risk of electric shock, do not disassemble this product unless you are qualified. Refer servicing to qualified service personnel.
EN 2. DESCRIPTION NX 985-A - PROFESSIONAL THREE-WAY ACTIVE SPEAKER NX 985-A is masterfully engineered from the ground up to deliver stellar audio performance for bands, DJs and rental companies. The combination of a 1.75” compression driver, 8” midrange, 15” woofer, two-channel 2100W amplifier, and constant directivity waveguides produce coherent 100° x 60° coverage for the listening area with up to 138 dB SPL of distortion-free sound.
1 PRESET SELECTOR This selector allows to select 3 different presets. By pressing the selector, the PRESET LEDS will indicate which preset is selected. LINEAR - this preset is recommended for all regular applications of the speaker. 2 SPEAKERS - this preset creates the correct equalization for the use of two NX 985-A coupled on a subwoofer. HIGH-PASS - this presets activates a 60Hz high-pass filter for the correct coupling of the NX 985-A with subwoofers not provided with their own internal filter. EN 3.
EN 4. CONNECTIONS The connectors must be wired according to the standards specified by the AES (Audio Engineering Society).

INSTALLATION FLOOR CONFIGURATIONS Several configurations are possibile with NX 985-A; they can be placed on the floor or on a stage as main PA or placed on a subwoofer in a single or coupled configuration (reccomended subwoofer RCF SUB 8008-AS). For system alignment refer to the documentation on www.rcf.it.
EN 5. INSTALLATION WARNING! CAUTION! Never suspend this speaker by its handles. Handles are intended for transportation, not for rigging. WARNING! CAUTION! To use this product on a subwoofer, before installing the system, please verify the allowed configurations and the indications regarding the accessories, on the RCF website to avoid any danger and damages to people, animals and objects.
EN 6. TROUBLESHOOTING THE SPEAKER DOESN’T TURN ON Make sure the speaker is switched on and connected to an active AC power THE SPEAKER IS CONNECTED TO AN ACTIVE AC POWER BUT DOESN’T TURN ON Make sure the power cable is intact and connected correctly. THE SPEAKER IS ON BUT DOESN’T MAKE ANY SOUND Check if the signal source is sending correctly and if the signal cables are not damaged. THE SOUND IS DISTORTED AND THE OVERLOAD LED BLINKS FREQUENTLY Turn down the output level of the mixer.

DESCRIZIONE NX 985-A - DIFFUSORE PROFESSIONALE ATTIVO A TRE VIE NX 985-A è un diffusore di altissima qualità progettato da zero per offrire prestazioni audio ottimali per band, DJ e molteplici altre applicazioni. La combinazione di un driver a compressione da 1,75”, midrange da 8”, woofer da 15”, amplificatore a due canali da 2100 W e guide d’onda a direttività costante produce una copertura di 100° x 60° sull’area di ascolto con un suono senza distorsioni fino a 138 dB SPL.
1 SELETTORE PRESET Questo selettore permette di selezionare 3 differenti preset. Premendo il selettore, i LED dei PRESET indicheranno quale preset è selezionato. LINEAR - preset consigliato per tutte le normali applicazioni del diffusore. 2 SPEAKERS - questo preset richiama la corretta equalizzazione per l’uso di due NX-985-A accoppiate sopra un subwoofer.

IT 5. INSTALLAZIONE CONFIGURAZIONI A TERRA Diverse configurazioni sono possibili con NX 985-A; possono essere posizionati sul pavimento o su un palco come sistema audio principale o posizionati su un subwoofer in configurazione singola o accopiata (subwoofer consigliato RCF SUB 8008-AS). Fare riferimento al sito web www.rcf.it per la documentazione relativa all’allineamento del sistema.
IT 5. INSTALLAZIONE ATTENZIONE! CAUTELA! Non sospendere mai i diffusori dalle maniglie. Le maniglie servono solo per il trasporto, non per la sospensione. ATTENZIONE! CAUTELA! Per utilizzare questo prodotto su un subwoofer, prima di installare il sistema verificare sul sito RCF le configurazioni consentite e le indicazioni relative agli accessori al fine di evitare pericoli e danni a persone, animali e cose.
IT 6. RISOLUZIONE DEI PROBLEMI IL DIFFUSORE NON SI ACCENDE Assicurarsi che il diffusore sia acceso e collegato a un’alimentazione attiva. IL DIFFUSORE È COLLEGATO A UN’ALIMENTAZIONE ATTIVA MA NON SI ACCENDE Verificare che il cavo di alimentazione sia integro e collegato correttamente. IL DIFFUSORE È ACCESO MA NON EMETTE ALCUN SUONO Verificare che la sorgente stia inviando il segnale correttamente e che i cavi di segnale non siano danneggiati.
