ENGLISH SAFETY PRECAUTIONS Before connecting and using this product, read the instructions provided in this manual carefully and keep it for future reference. This manual is an integral part of the product and it must accompany it even in the case of changes of ownership, so that the new owner is aware of the method of installation and use and all safety warnings. Incorrect installation and use of the product shall relieve RCF S.p.A. of any and all liability.
ENGLISH INFORMATION ON THE DEVICE Thank you for purchasing a RCF mixing console. F 16XR is a versatile audio mixer equipped with all the tools needed for accurately processing multiple audio signals from a variety of sources. ENGLISH FRONT PANEL FUNCTIONS [1] MIC INPUTS RCF F 16XR provides 10 mono Mic inputs via XLR connectors. The Balanced XLR Microphone preamp input supports sources with a gain range from 0 dB to -50 dB (see section [11] of this manual). All the F 16XR’s MIC-LINE inputs are supplied with an 80 Hz Hi-pass filter. Enable the 80 Hz Hi-Pass filter when using voice microphone to reduce low frequency pop, bump and rumble noises (see section [11] of this manual).
ENGLISH FRONT PANEL FUNCTIONS [10] PHANTOM POWER +48 V CH1/6 SWITCH Dedicated to the Mic input this switch allows the +48 V Phantom Power to the Mic input: 1-8 to be enabled. Enabling of the Phantom power is necessary only in the presence of Condenser and Electret Microphones or in case of D.I. boxes usage. [11] CHANNEL 1 TO 8 GAIN MIC input (XLR). These controls permit the gain for MIC input to be set with a range from 0 dB to -50 dB.
ENGLISH FRONT PANEL FUNCTIONS [18] EQ (STEREO CHANNELS) Stereo channels 9/10, 11/12, 13/14 and 15/16 are provided with precise 3-band EQ. Low frequency control sets in at 100 Hz with a gain of +/-15 dB and shelving curve. Hi frequency control sets in at 10 kHz with a gain of +/-15 dB and shelving curve. Mid frequency control sets in at 1250 Hz with a gain of +/-15 dB and bell curve. [19] PRO DSP FX F 16XR is equipped with an internal 16 preset FX board.
ENGLISH FRONT PANEL FUNCTIONS [25] AUX3 PRE/POST BUTTON This button allows selection of the AUX3 position, pre-fader or post-fader. See section [21] of this manual. [26] PHONES LEVEL This knob controls the level of the PHONES OUTPUT [7]. Set the PHONES LEVEL control to minimum (-∞) before connect and wear headphones to avoid hearing loss.
ENGLISH FRONT PANEL FUNCTIONS [33] FX RET FADER This fader controls the level of the signal coming from the internal PRO DSP FX. MUTE button, when pressed, inhibits the signal to flow to the output bus or main mix paths. The PFL button allows listening to the signal present on the channel through speakers connected to the CTRL ROOM OUTPUT (see section [9] of the back panel description) or through headphones connected to PHONES OUTPUT (see section [7]).
ENGLISH REAR PANEL FUNCTIONS [36] POWER SWITCH Use this switch to turn on and off your F 16XR mixer. [37] POWER SUPPLY INLET Connect here the power cord provided. The internal power supply accepts power from 100 V to 240 V AC 50-60 Hz. [38] USB TYPE B PORT Use this to connect your computer for audio stereo recording of the MAIN MIX signal and audio stereo playback. The computer connection does not require any driver and allows the recording and reproduction of PCM audio at 44.1/48.0 kHz - 16 Bit.

ITALIANO DESCRIZIONE DEL PANNELLO FRONTALE [1] INGRESSI MICROFONICI RCF F 16XR dispone di 10 ingressi microfonici mono dotati di connettori XLR. L’ingresso XLR bilanciato del preamplificatore microfonico supporta sorgenti con un intervallo di guadagno da 0 dB a -50 dB (vedere la sezione [11] di questo manuale). Tutti gli ingressi MIC-LINE dell’F 16XR sono forniti di un filtro Hi-Pass a 80 Hz.
ITALIANO DESCRIZIONE DEL PANNELLO FRONTALE [10] PHANTOM POWER +48 V CH1/8 SWITCH Dedicato agli ingressi Microfonici, questo interruttore consente di abilitare l’alimentazione Phantom + 48 V agli ingressi 1-8. Abilitare l’alimentazione Phantom è necessaria in presenza di microfoni a condensatore ed elettrete o in caso di utilizzo di D.I. box. [11] GAIN PER I CANALI DA 1 A 8 Questi controlli consentono di impostare il guadagno per gli ingressi microfonici con un intervallo da 0 dB a -50 dB.
ITALIANO DESCRIZIONE DEL PANNELLO FRONTALE [18] EQ (CANALI STEREO) I canali stereo 9/10, 11/12, 13/14 e 15/16 sono dotati di un preciso equalizzatore a 3 bande. Il controllo delle basse frequenze è impostato a 100 Hz con un guadagno di +/- 15 dB e una curva shelving. Il controllo delle alte frequenze è impostato a 10 kHz con un guadagno di +/- 15 dB e una curva shelving. Il controllo della frequenza media si imposta a 1250 Hz con un guadagno di +/- 15 dB e una curva a campana.
ITALIANO DESCRIZIONE DEL PANNELLO FRONTALE [25] PULSANTE AUX3 PRE/POST Questo pulsante consente di selezionare la posizione di prelievo del segnale della AUX3, pre-fader o post-fader. Vedere la sezione [21] di questo manuale. Se il pulsante è sollevato l’AUX 3 preleva il segnale in posizione PRE FADER quindi indipendentemente dalla posizione del fader; se il pulsante è premuto l’AUX3 preleva il segnale in posizione POST FADER quindi soggetto alla posizione del fader.
ITALIANO DESCRIZIONE DEL PANNELLO FRONTALE [33] FADER DI FX RET Questo fader controlla il livello del segnale di ritorno proveniente dal PRO DSP FX interno. Il pulsante MUTE quando premuto inibisce il flusso del segnale verso i BUS di uscita e il percorso di MAIN MIX.

[37] PRESA PER IL CAVO DI ALIMENTAZIONE Collegare qui il cavo di alimentazione fornito a corredo. L‘alimentatore interno accetta tensioni da 100 V a 240 V CA. 50-60 Hz. [38] PORTA USB TIPO B Utilizzata per collegare un computer dedicato alla registrazione audio stereo del segnale MAIN MIX e alla riproduzione audio stereo.
