3 CH. 4 Switch Selects the channel to which you will tune the TV to see the VCR picture if you
connect the VCR using one of the basic hookups.
AUDIO and VIDEO IN Jacks Receives signals from another component, like a VCR or camcorder,
when it is connected to these jacks. Use INPUT on the remote to select Video 1.
AUDIO and VIDEO OUT Jacks Sends signals from VCR to another component, like a TV or VCR,
when it is connected to these␣ jacks.
IN FROM ANT. Jack Receives a signal from an antenna or cable system when attached.
OUT TO TV Jack Passes signal to TV using the cable supplied.
Status Indicators Show what the VCR is doing.
BYE Power off
EJEC Tape eject
•FF Fast forward
HI Power on
PLAY Playback; flashes during play-pause, and search features
REC Record
REW Rewind
SAFE Pro-Tect Plus turned on
SCH Forward search
SCH- Reverse search
STOP A tape is stopped
TIMER Lights during express recording and when VCR is turned off and set for timer
recording. Flashes when timer recording is set and there is no cassette in the VCR.
VCR Indicator (Applies only if the VCR viewing channel is 3
or 4). Press the TV•VCR button to turn on or off.
VCR indicator on: Picture from VCR.
VCR indicator off: Picture from TV channel.
