CHANNEL•TRACKING Up or Down Selects next higher or lower channel in the VCR’s channel memory.
Adjusts tracking when a tape is playing.
FWD Forwards the tape when the VCR is stopped. Searches the picture forward during playback.
LINE 2 A/V Jacks Use these jacks to conveniently connect a camcorder or second VCR to this VCR for
dubbing. Use INPUT to select Video2.
PLAY•PAUSE Plays a tape. Pauses action for viewing during playback. Pauses recording to prevent
recording of unwanted scenes.
POWER Turns the VCR on or off.
RECORD Starts VCR recording. Used for express recording.
Remote Sensor Receives signals from the remote control. Aim the remote at this sensor.
REV Rewinds the tape when the VCR is stopped. Searches the picture in reverse during playback.
STOP•EJECT Stops the normal functions such as record, playback, rewind, fast-forward, or pause. Ejects
the tape when the VCR is stopped.
TV•VCR Switches the picture signal so that it either comes from the VCR or the TV.

Power Indicator Lights when the VCR is turned on. Flashes during a recording.
Time, Channel Number, Line Input Indicator (L), or Status Displays
Time The current time appears. Only an AM indicator appears with the time. There is no indicator for
PM.
Channel Number or Line Input Indicator The channel number appears when the VCR is tuned to a
channel. The line indicator (L) appears when the line input is selected.
