Troubleshooting
Sound okay, picture poor
The dipole antenna may not be getting a good signal. '['W adiusting its rods. Make sure all of the cables are
firmly connected to the jacks.
TW adjusting sharpness function to improve weak signals. Go to page 32 for instructions.
Can't select certain channel
Channel may b(, blocked or not approved in the Par_.ntal Controls menu.
If"using the VCR make sure the TV/VCR is in the correct mode (press the TV button).
Clock is wrong
Power interruption. Nc,c'cl to re'set the clock. Go to page 33 for more inf_)rmtion.
Clock was not set accurat_,ly (check AM/PM and date). Go to page 33 for more information.
Auto channel search not searching properly

Black box appears on the screen
Closed-captioning might be on. Check the Cloxed-ckJption i)is]dr4}' control panel in the Screen menu. Go to

Closed captions not appearing on screen
Closed caption might not be set to on. Go to pages 32-33 f_:)rmore inf_)rmation.
Station might not b(, broadcasting closed caption.
VCR Playback Problems
Tape plays continuously
Auto repeat might be tinned on. Go to page 34 for instructions.
Tape plays automatically
Auto play might b(, turned on. Go to page 34 for instructions.
Tape won't insert or eject
Make sme you insert the cassette with the window facing up and safety tab f_cing out.
When removing a tape, make sure the TV/VCR is connected to a working outlet.
Turn off the TV/VCR, then on befk)re tiTing to insert or remove tape.
