Troubleshooting
Most problems you encounter with your TV/VCR you can correct by consulting the Troubleshooting
list that follows.
General TV/VCR Problems
TV/VCR won't turn on
Press the TV or VCR button to turn on tlw TV/VCR.
Make sure tlw TV/VCR is plugged in.
Check the wall receptacle (or extension cord) to make sure it is "live" by plugging in something else.
Something might be wrong with your remote control Press the POWER button on the front of the TV/VCR.
If file TV turns on, go to page 39 fbr remote control solutions.
The fl-ont panel controls may be locked (disabled). Use the remote control to unlock the front panel controls
by pressing the POWER button for 6 seconds.
Controls don't work
If you rc using tlw remote control press tbc TV button first to make sure the remote is in TV mode.

by pressing the POWER button for 6 seconds.
Unplug the TV/VCR for two minutes and then plug it back in. '['urn the TV on and tW again.
TV/VCR turns off unexpectedly
Sleep timer may have been activated. Go to page 33 for instructions.
Electronic protection circuit may have been activated because of a power surge. Wait 30 seconds and then
turn the TV/VCR on again. If tiffs happens frequently, the w)ltage in your house may be abnormally high
or low.
TV/VCR turns on unexpectedly
Wake-up timer may have been activated. Go to page 33 for instructions.
Blank screen
TW another channel
Clwck picture adjustments. Go to page 32 for instructions.
Make sure the line input is not selected. Repeatedly press 00 on the remote to switch between audio/video
input jacks and tuner.
No sound, picture okay
Pross the' volume up to increase' the sotmd.
Maybe sound is muted. Press the volume up button to restore sound.
No picture, no sound butTV is on
Maybe the ant_,nna/cablc setting is set to the wrong position. Go to page 11 for instructions.
The channel might be empty -- change channels.
