Key Features Overview
Your TV/DVD is equipped with some special features that will add to your viewing experience.
The following information summarizes some of these features.
Front Audio/Video Inputs
Description: Allows quick easy access for direct audio and video
connections for video game or camcorder.
Requirements:
• Connect the component with a/v cables.
• Use the INPUT button to switch between inputs once components
are connected.
Multi-Language Capability for TV and DVD
Description: In TV mode and DVD mode, on-screen displays are
available in English, French, and Spanish. In DVD mode, discs can
support up to 8 different audio languages, 32 different subtitle tracks and
closed captioning.
Requirements:
• Use the TV menu system or DVD menu system to set the preferred
language.
• Discs must be encoded with the subtitles and audio languages.

V-Chip
Description: You can block programs and movies by age-based
ratings, and/or movie ratings.
Requirements:
• Set up the V-Chip in the V-CHIP SET menu. Go to pages 29-
32 in Chapter 3 for more details.
• The broadcasters must use the rating system when they send
the program to your TV in order to block the program.
