PAUSE ( ) In DVD mode, press PAUSE when the disc is playing to pause.
While in the pause mode, each time you press PAUSE the disc advances one
frame at a time.
PLAY ( ) In DVD mode, plays the disc. In TV mode, switches to DVD mode.
PLAY MODE In DVD mode, brings up the Repeat function.
RETURN In DVD mode, clears the DVD menus from the screen.
REVERSE (
) In DVD mode, press REVERSE to go backwards on a disc.
SETUP•MENU In TV mode, displays the TV’s menu system. In DVD mode,
displays the DVD’s menu system when a disc is not playing (stop mode). If you
press SETUP•MENU while playing a disc, the TV’s menu system appears.
SLEEP In TV or DVD mode, sets the TV or DVD to turn off within a preset
amount of time (up to 120 minutes).
SLOW-/+ (
/ ) In DVD mode, slows the speed of the DVD disc during
playback.
STOP ( ) In DVD mode, stops playing the disc.
SUBTITLE In DVD mode, press SUBTITLE to turn subtitle features on and off
when playing a disc recorded with subtitles. In TV mode, selects closed
captioning option. Also, turns closed captioning on or off and toggles through the
closed captioning options. Go to page 33 for details.
TITLE In DVD mode, brings up the title menu of the disc, if available.
VOL up and down buttons (
VOLUME
32
) Decrease or increase the TV/DVD’s
volume.
ZOOM In DVD mode, lets you zoom in on the frame image. Positions of the
frame image can be switched by using the arrow buttons.
