TRANSMISSION DISTANCES
The transmission distance is limited by the technology used for each link. Study below
diagram and observe the distances when operating the datalink.

CHARGING THE BATTERY
Battery life: 3 hours
Charging duration: 1 hour
You may charge the battery while using the datalink.
1. Connect a regular micro USB cable to the micro USB port located on the right side of
the datalink.
2. Connect the USB-A connector to a USB power source (5 V/DC, 40 mA).
3. The indicator light Charge Status lights up red.
4. When the battery is fully charged the indicator light Charge Status lights up green.
5. Remove the USB cable.
OPERATION
Auto-off:
If the datalink is not connected to the mobile device within 5 minutes, it turns off
automatically.
Power on
When the datalink is turned off, press and hold the front button for approx. 3 seconds to
turn it on. The Bluetooth indicator light emits single blue ashes.
Power off
When the datalink is turned on, press and hold the front button for approx. 3 seconds to
turn it off. The datalink turns off automatically when not connected for at least 5 minutes.
Pairing
1. Make sure you have the latest version of the EYEControl app installed on your mobile
device and run the RC Logger rmware version FW2.0 or higher on your quadcopter.
2. When the datalink is turned off, press and hold the front button for approx. 6 seconds.
The Low Battery and Bluetooth indicator lights ash alternatively, indicating pairing
mode.
3. Enable Bluetooth on your mobile device and pair the datalink with the mobile device
through the app interface.
4. After approx. 30 seconds, the paired datalink and mobile device is indicated by blue
double ashes of the Bluetooth indicator light. In case of failed pairing, the Bluetooth
indicator light emits blue single ashes. Restart pairing procedure.
FUNCTION TEST
Make sure you test the following items outlined in the below table before take-off:

Telemetry data and task points - Assign test task points to your quadcopter.
- Conrm reception of telemetry data.
CLEANING AND CARE
> The datalink does not require any maintenance, do not disassemble it. Maintenance or
repairs may be carried out by a professional only.
> Do not let liquid enter the datalink.
> Clean the exterior of the datalink using a clean, soft, dry cloth only.
> Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents or chemical solutions as these may
damage the housing causing discoloration and/or malfunction.
DISPOSAL
In order to preserve, protect and improve the quality of environment, protect
human health and utilise natural resources prudently and rationally, the user
should return unserviceable product to relevant facilities in accordance with
statutory regulations. The crossed-out wheeled bin indicates the product needs
to be disposed separately and not as municipal waste.
Consequently you comply with your legal obligations and contribute to environmental
protection!
